The studio
Novacraft Labs is a one-person studio run by Noah C. Larson — designer and developer working with small American product companies that want craft without the agency overhead.
The studio is deliberately small. That means every project gets founder-level attention, not passed down a layer of juniors. It also means we only take on work we can do well.
We believe the web peaked when craft and performance started being treated as the same thing. Novacraft builds on that belief.

This page is typeset in Instrument Serif italic display and Space Grotesk sans. The signature in Plate II is set once in Homemade Apple — an actual handwriting font, not a typeset approximation.
The galactic backdrop is generated live by NSG-1, a custom WebGL2 fragment shader: pcg3d hash starfield, iq domain-warped fBm nebulae, curl-noise displacement. Seed 7777. Half-resolution, 30 fps, zero main-thread cost per frame.
Brand accents descend from real astrophysical emission lines — molten at Hα (656 nm), citron near the edge of OIII (500 nm), brass as the warm bridge. The galaxy dictated the palette, not the other way around.
Written in Astro 5, hand-coded, shipped from Cincinnati. No trackers, no cookies, no third-party analytics. MMXXVI.
